Any suggestions for hair new style?

I feel so, I don't know the word. But for posting a second question with my picture int it!!.





The first question I asked that I needed a style and large amount answer suggested a new hair style.





I don't know what one to get though, 60% of my hair is my bangs that I been growing out since I was 12.





I was thinking of getting highlights. Any suggestions?

Long straight hair... New style or cut?

I Have lond straight brown hair. It hangs slighty below my bra. I like it long, but I may get it cut. I have a face framing, but I usually wear my hair tucked behind my ears. I just think it's kind of boring, and I don't usually wear it up. So, If you have any good advice, I would greatly appriciate it.

I think you look absolutely gorgeous. I don't think you should get a new style or haircut. I would leave it exactly the way it is. Don't listen to the other people about getting bangs. I don't think you should. I don't think it is boring. I really like the layers. I have layers and bangs. The thing is that I like the length of your hair, it's perfect, just don't get it shorter. I have bangs, but not side bangs. But, it looks like I did, but I can have the part on both sides. Just ask for thick bangs-it really doesn't look thick at all-and have them cut up to the bottom of your nose, while it is a little wet. So you look like you have side bangs, no matter which side you have it put on. Good luck with the cut! Wish you the best.
If you want a new style try not to go to extreme because you might not end up liking it or it might get in the way....and if you do sports or anything like that make sure that its not to short and you can still put it up if you want to. i would try something like side swept bangs, because it looks good and it not to much...if you really want to get your hair cut just get it a few inches but nothing to permanet.
I have seen many women with long hair as yours in the workplace wearing their hair up in a bun! - This, they say helps them to ';contain'; their hair and keep it that long.



';Miss Marie'; ties her hair up, toward the top of her head, (vs. toward the back) which, she says helps to hold her cap in the local winds.




Definately get side bangs. I loooove them! It can make your boring hair so cute. or you could get plain bangs that are right above you're eyebrows, those are in all of a sudden... lol.



Layers are also another option, you can get layered with sidebangs, that'd be super cute!

thats a shame i would say side bangs are perfect for u since ur hair is straight. but if u dont want them try some continuous layers going down your face. good luck =]

Ok I'm getting new hair tomorrow. I need some new clothes. I used to be girlishly and love pink and purple and stuff. Last year I started skateboarding and I like the skater stuff now. Layers dont come in numbers, they come in lengths. So you can't choose that you want 3 or 4 or 5 layers. You want to tell your stylist where you want your shortest layer to be, and then she will blend those layers to the longest part of your hair.



The best way is to show her in a picture, or to say ';I want my shortest layer here'; and show her with your hands.

Well i would concider curling your hair and maybe cutting it to a cute lenght and if you like it and your friends don't who cars what they think its your hair!

put some low lights into it to sharpen up the color. u could even go bold and have a couple really light streaks in it. if u are going trendy it's better to do a two or more tone color over the black with alot of layers. and don't worry they grow out fast if u don't like them.......but pretty sure u will. also could do some shorter layers around the face that would look good also

Yes definatally go for layers. 3-4 would be your best bet. once you add layers, your hair gets more volume and can curl and have more waves.

Well, if you have a slender face, I think that the layered (kindof) A-line bob is great! But, that will be a dramatic change for your long straight hair, but if you want a real change, you can't go wrong. Make sure though, that they don't shave the back. Just short enough to curve your neck/hair line. Good luck. I am sure that anything will look great!

so over the summer i bought cool clothes and makeup, but last year all I wore were bent glasses, sweatpants and the same stinky old t-shirts. how do I change my personality. ( people thought i was funny, but geeky)

I also have long straight hair - also very fine. If yours is the same way forego the layering. Be happy it is that way, it is the style. Add some highlights if you want change.

I understand you're 13 and lack the confidence in yourself (now that your body is changing) to make your own decisions.



But how about doing things the normal way? Look at other people's hair and hair in magazines for ideas you'd like. Then go and try it out. If you don't like it, then get rid of it. If you can't get rid of it, then just suffer a bad hair style for a few months - like so many of us have done.



Don't be lazy and expect other people who don't know you, to decide what your hair should be like.



No-one will notice the girl who gets a hairstyle like everyone else, or doesn't have her own ideas. Have a look at yourself and try and decide something that it for you. You won't be happy with it otherwise.
If you want to cut it, choppy layers will give your hair more volume. SInce its straight, you can always go curly. You can scrunch your hair when damp or use a curling iron if you want more defined curls.

If you have a rounder face, most of the emo hair wont suit you. Try punk or skater. If you can't dye your hair, buy hair extensions.
You could dye it black and cut it like Mitchel Mussos on disney channel, but not as long on the sides. Cut it like Craig Maidens or what ever his name is.

you can scrunch it or curl it.



to scrunch it you need mousse or styling gel or whatever.



1. take a shower.

2. when you get out, comb hair

3. take mousse or whatever your using and scrunch it into your hair.



to curl it you need a curling iron or hot rollers, medium hold hair spray.



for curling iron:



1. start to curl small sections of your hair halfway up your strands

2. repeat till all your hair is curlly. while your hair is in the curling spray some hair spray on them.



for the hot rollers:



1. seperate your hair into 3 sections (left side, middle, and right side.)

2.undo one side and taking small or medium sections start to roll them in to the rollers

3. repeat till all your hair is in rollers.

4. spray medium hold hair spray all over your hair (which still has curlers in them.)

5. once rollers are cold take them out and spray some hair spray on them.

Sky's the limit with that style. I really like the two thin headband style, with a little volume at the crown. A soft wave with pillow curlers is also easy--use a curl enhancing mouse on damp hair at night, twist up into Goodie pillow curlers (bout $5.00 at the drug store), let dry overnight, and then take out in the morning, style with some shine serum to tame frizzies and fix with light hold hair spray. You could also flip it out with your blow dryer, and use some light pomade to texturize the ends for a playful look. And with the bangs you could tease them a little at the roots and then smooth them back with some bobby pins for that high forehead look that's been popular for awhile--that's the one I have the most trouble with myself, I can never get the bangs quite right.What should i do with my hair?? *new style*?
i know two things you can do! =]

-you can pull it up into a bun.

-you can put little pigtails (to the side)
its really nice you should not just do it blonde add some dark highlight

Long, dark brown, wavy hair - new style?

I have naturally dark brown hair (almost black) and the length is half way down my back. It is also naturally wavy. I'd appreciate your opinions on whether I should cut my hair or trim it or keep it the way it is. Also, what hairstyles would look nice if I decide to cut it? Pictures/links would help A LOT. personally i think longer hair looks better so maybe just a trim with some layers, but if you wanted to do something different to like the hair color maybe get some highlights.

im 15, and my hair is also curly, i hate straightening it because it fries it like crazy.



If when you get out of the shower, you put in Anti-Frizz cream ( any drugstore has it, mines in a lime green bottle ) and then you put mousse in it and scrunch it with your hands, then blow dry, its really cute.



And it takes me about 10 minutes at the most.
