When I wanted my hair like that, I just dyed it black with manic panic and straitened it, that's about all it takes. If you're a guy, then you can try the messy spiked/bedhead look. I just looked up my favorite band people and told my stylist I wanted hair like that haha. I think you'll find that if your going after any style, there's not much originality. Just go with something you like and let it evolve.
you should get a razor cut on your hair and get side swept bangs but make the part further than you normally wood..then to style it dlat iron it good and use a dry wax and a spray wax on it...i had my hair like this once and it was too cute..in an emo sort of way!!=]
