I'm not sure what your hair type is, but I've had long kinda wavy hair for awhile and here are a few things that I have done:

straight, of course

braid your hair and then let the braids out to make it wavy

half up- pin the top half up (do with wavy or straight hair)

barrel curls- use bobby pins to style it

take a piece from each side of your hair (towards the front) and bobby pin it in the back

u can braid each side and bring it across to the middle and tie it but dont braid all just like half length
