I wanted to know what type of hair product I should use on my hair. I'm mostly oblivious to hair products. All I've ever tried are gels but they always leave my hair crunchy looking and i don't like that. eh, it kind of depends on the guy, and what he looks like. if he is younger, like inbetween 10 and 15, then the medium shaggy look. As to the men that are inbetween 15 and 18, shaggy could work. If you're over 18, you should have shorter hair, for a clean cut look :)

Hi im a 16 year old guy with really fine blond hair. My hair has never been very thick. As a kid I had a bull cut that was cute for a while but by the time 5th grade came around I was sick of it and so I got something a little longer than a buzz cut. I've pretty much kept it that way till now and i usually get a cut when its nearing my eyes. I grew it out quite a bit past my eyes only one time. I liked it but there were some problems. one is that it got greasy after a day (I shower every day but still). After a shower it would always curl up, on the ends. This was ok and I could kinda make it look good, but I wanted to find a way to make it look good when it was straight down. But the only way it was ever straight down was when it was greasy. Also, I had a bunch of ugly stuff kinda coming out in the back from hair on my upper neck. Should I have cut that a couple times?





I wanna give this another try, but I want to do it w/ some style.Hair styles for men?
'shaped' means getting layers. it looks really neat and hot on most guys. you should try it, just ask the hairdresser to shape your hair they will know what that means

well alot of people mistaken a man having long hair as sunnah, but after asking the sheikh at my local mosque, he says it is ok to grow your hair but not to say it is sunnah because the Prophet (PBUH) did grow his hair but not because of a religous reson he liked to take care of himself and he liked to follow their ';Fashion trends'; just like we do.








but i also know it is ok for you to grow you are any way but it has to be the same length all around, i hear it is makrooh, not haram, to have short hair on the bottom but long on the top like a mohawk or a mullet, but i am not sure but i am sure if you were to research on the internet trying islamic websites or going to your nearist mosque and asking the sheikh they would help you more then i can.Salam Dear Muslims, I would like to know what is the recommended hair style for men according to Sunnah ?

I guess the best way to follow the Sunnah would be to look to the ahadith that describe the physical features of the Prophet (sall'Allahu alayhi wasalam)





It has been reported that the Prophet (sall'Allahu alayhi wasalam) had shoulder length hair...

Book 030, Number 5770: Al-Bara' reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) was of medium height, having broad shoulders, with his hair hanging down on the lobes of his ears. He put on a red mantle over him, and never have I seen anyone more handsome than Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him).





Book 030, Number 5771: Al-Bara' reported: Never did I see anyone more handsome than Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) in the red mantle. His hair had been hanging down on the shoulders and his shoulders were very broad, and he was neither very tall nor short-statured. Ibn Kuraib said he had hair.





Book 030, Number 5772: Al-Bara' reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) had the most handsome face amongst men and he had the best disposition and he was neither very tall nor short-statured.





Book 030, Number 5773: Qatada reported: I asked Anas b. Malik: How was the hair of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)? Thereupon he said: His hair was neither very curly nor very straight, and they hung over his shoulders and earlobes.





Chapter 25: PERTAINING TO THE CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES OF THE FACE OF ALLAH'S MESSENGER (MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM) AND HIS EYES AND HIS HEELS





Book 030, Number 5774: Anas reported that the hair of Allah's Messenger (may. peace be upon him) came upon his shoulders.





Book 030, Number 5775: Anas reported that the hair of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) reached half of the earlobe.





Book 030, Number 5776: Jabir b. Samura reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) had a broad face with reddish (wide) eyes, and lean heels. Shu'ba reported: I said to Simak: What does this dali-ul-fam mean? And he said: This means broad face. I said: What does this ashkal mean? He said: Long in the slit of the eye. I said: What is this manhus-ul-aqibain? He said: It implies little flesh at the heels.





Chapter 26: ALLAH'S MESSENGER (MAY PEACE AE UPON HIM) HAD A WHITE ELEGANT FACE





Book 030, Number 5777: Jurairi reported: I said to Abu Tufail: Did you see Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)? He said: Yes, he had a white handsome face. Muslim b. Hajjaj said: Abu Tufail who died in 100 Hijra was the last of the Companions of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him).





Book 030, Number 5778: Abu Tufail reported: I saw Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and there is one amongst the people of the earth who (are living at the present time and) had seen him except me. I said to him: How did you find him? He said: He had an elegant white color, and he was of an average height.

He goaded by singing the songs of camel-driver. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Anjasha, drive slowly as you are driving (the mounts who are carrying) glass vessels





Chapter 13: THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH (MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM) IS THE BEST AMONGST PEOPLE IN DISPOSITION AND BEHAVIOUR





Book 030, Number 5720: Anas b. Malik reported: I served the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) for ten years, and, by Allah, he never said to me any harsh word, and he never said to me about a thing as to why I had done that and as to why I had not done that. Abu Rabi' has made this addition (in this narration):'; The work which a servant should do.'; There is no mention of his words'; By Allah';.

Book 030, Number 5715: Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) was the sublimest among people (in character) and the most generous amongst them and he was the bravest of men. One night the people of Medina felt disturbed and set forth in the direction of a sound when Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) met them on his way back as he had gone towards that sound ahead of them. He was on the horse of Abu Talha which had no saddle over it, and a sword was slung round his neck, and he was saying: There was nothing to be afraid of, and he also said: We found it (this horse) like a torrent of water (indicating its swift-footedness), whereas the horse had been slow before that time.

Is there any possible good hair style for men with wavy hair?

i mean my hair used to be staright until i moved to florida whare its always humid. and it all got burnt and curly. and i didnt conditon it until now but it still doesnt help. so what can i do? the comb doesnt work. and pulling back looks wierd becuase i have a bit of hair but its not long. is there anyway to fix it? Discription of hair: wavy on top and back and curls at the edges of my hair (like the ends). hard to brush do to being so curly and gets poofy and frizzy withought conditioner and since im always in the hot weather which is usually 90 degrees outside. any help at all???Is there any possible good hair style for men with wavy hair?
dang dude i have the same problem but im 15 idk how old you are. My hair was always straight till i hit puberty and now it curls like you said yours did. if i were you i would gell it or maybe cut it really short and grow facial hair so u wouldnt look so plain. Maybe you could even spike it if it fits you it might not. personally i straighten my hair but i wouldnt suggest that people will call you gay and stuff if u tell them but then again maybe they wont and ull like it. Humidy would affect bad though. Also you could just grow it out curly like orlando bloom or eric bana their hair looks pretty cool. What is a ';layered'; hair style for men?

Im getting my haircut in a few days. My hair is currently about an inch above my eyebrow, all pretty flat (no particular style to it, looks like an ordinary boy cut). I want to get it a little bit shorter for the summer, but I don't want it to look perfectly neat and symmetrical all around if you know what I mean. I would like it to be a little more un-even and messy for style. Would i ask the hairdresser if she could put some layers in my hair to mess it up a little or am i totally misunderstanding what layers means?What is a ';layered'; hair style for men?
What it means when the hair is layed, is the all the hair is not the same length, like your hair is now. The under layer will be the longest, and progressively get shorter. It won't be obvious, but blend in well. Yes you will probably want your hair dresser to do this. Also ask her if the layered look will look good for the messy style you want. I'm sure that she will know what she is doing, also bring in a picture of what you want, this will help the hair dresser know exactly what you want.
