A pleat is another great idea to keep hair of your face....roll hair from either left or right and secure with pins.....if you have a fringe use hair grips to push it back towards the pleat....this adds class.

This link has some really cute side buns that would look elegant and you can still put some curls in your hair. A few bobby pins and a couple of swoops here and there and then you have a soft, sophisticated style for the new year, hope this helps.
What I do to make my hair super curly is after I shower I spray some curling mousse and activating spray from Tresemme on my hair, then I scrunch it and blow dry it. It gets big and curly and looks awesome. I find that procedure easier than using a curling iron.

Basically, what you do, when you are doing a Sims hair, along the side there should be little icons for each type of clothing, as well as a full body icon, while all but the top one will be grayed out. As long as the others are all grayed out, the hair selected will apply to all outfits. However, if you click on the top icon (the full body), the others will become available, and the top icon will gain a ∞ over it, to signify that clicking it again will make the hairstyle set for all outfits again. After you've unlocked the other outfit buttons, then you just click thru them and change the style you want accordingly.

I know height/face shape/skin color are key to a hairstyle. Currently I have very straight ,fine Medium Brown hair and its long in layers but you cant tell I have layers. They've grown out. Im 15 and want an edgier look for the summer. So I am 5'1, Round/Oval face, and have medium tan skin. I dont know if going black is a good idea or not. I would leave your hair the color that it currently is for the summer, since the sun will lighten whatever color you may have. For the haircut, long is in, so I would keep it long but add more layers and some side-swept, angeled bangs. I just got a similar haircut to the 1st picture below and I love it! Its so versatile, and depending on how I style it, it can be classy and tame, or edgy and wild.

It's weird to say that I've never cut my hair before (though it's occasionally been trimmed). My hair is really long (like past my butt) and ridiculously curly. And I'm sick of it. I have a hair appointment today to get my hair cut, but my father won't let me use any type of chemical to straighten/dye/etc my hair. So it has to stay curly.





Do you have any suggestions for different styles of curly hair? I plan on making it short or medium length. Pictures would be nice. go in for a medium length haircut but avoid short coz it may seem like a pyramid on top of ur head!


also ask ur hairdresser to decrease the volume of your hair by putting it in layers..

So, I was wondering if anyone knows of different every-day hair styles for my long straight hair ? All I really do is leave it down, put it up in a pony tail, put it up in pig-tails, or braid it. I never do anything else and I think that these are getting boring. Have any ideas for casual styles?

rockstar- how to do it, start by putting hair in high ponytail. like top of your head. then you grab a tiny section of the hair in ponytail. take it and curl it under and underclip it under your head.so it should look like a loop. do this to all sections. then put in a head band.

I'm not sure what your hair type is, but I've had long kinda wavy hair for awhile and here are a few things that I have done:

straight, of course

braid your hair and then let the braids out to make it wavy

half up- pin the top half up (do with wavy or straight hair)

barrel curls- use bobby pins to style it

take a piece from each side of your hair (towards the front) and bobby pin it in the back
